The Advanced Placement Statistics course introduces students to the major concepts and tools for collecting, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from data.Students are exposed to four broad conceptual themes; exploring data, planning a study, anticipating patterns, and statistical inference. The AP Statistics course is an excellent option for any student who has good problem-solving skills as well as solid language arts skills that are needed to interpret and write analyses of statistical word problems.A TI-83+ or TI-84 graphing calculator is necessary for success.

Prerequisite:Students must have successfully completed course 410 or 411.
